Louise Warren : vocalist
Born in London, the young Louise Warren grew up to the sounds of her Mums soulful and funky record collection. Her fascination with soul, funk and rare groove had a profound effect on her future.
In her teens her dad would recommend a different album to her almost every week, therefore expanding her musical taste! Inevitably Louise went on to realise her ambition and has had a singing career that includes work with artists such as, Ringo Starr, Kenney Jones and the Jones gang, Mike Rutherford (Genesis/Mike and the mechanics), Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Littlemix, Omar, Madeline Bell, Jane mcdonald, Gary Brooker (Procal Harem), Bev Bevan (The Move/ELO), Kenny Thomas, Olly Murs and Peter Andre.
As well as this, Louise is a freelance vocalist singing with various bands including; The Red Lemons, playing various venues and corporate events. Louise is also one of the lead vocalists in Fillet-o-Soul, a fantastic soul band made up of various members of the Jools Holland Orchestra and the Strictly Come Dancing Orchestra. She has also worked with Dave Arch’s Strictly Come Dancing Band.
Louise has also recorded many times for the worldwide recording stable Metrophonic. She recorded for the Disney Corporation, the track ‘Destiny’ is available on Disney compilations and is the theme for the Epcot centre ride ‘mission space’.
Louise has contributed to various albums including the American jazz bassist Tom Hills Music of mass destruction, performing with them in the London jazz festival. Also, Louise has sung on various jingles for TV.
She has also just completed her first solo album, many of the songs written with Dave Lowe.
Louise is also a voiceover artist; her diverse work includes many children’s characters for Qudos’ TED entertainment, Bourne Leisure, Haven, Thompson’s, Early Learning Centre, Newsnight, bbc, various radio adverts/jingles and many corporate videos. Louise puts the voices to many characters, including songs.
